I have always treated the privacy of my customers as if it were my own.
Priorities have shifted in our country to the point that marketing and business are preferred over individual privacy. I believe it should be the reverse. Businesses should have to ask for your permission to share your information. If you don't give your permission or if you don't respond, it should be illegal for businesses to share your private and personal information.
Recent attempts by our government to remove or bury judicial oversight have eroded the privacy of every American citizen. I do not support these attempts and desire full disclosure and transparency in order to reduce the possibility of abuse. The people should always hold the reins on the government.
I believe in the individual's rights over those of business'. In addition, government should not have broad powers without judicial oversight for spying on its citizens.
